Pros

I-Tech is the perfect place to challenge status quo. Each day is different. That is the exciting part about technology. You are always learning and solving problems for customers. There is always opportunities to take on stretch projects and initiatives for those are interested in taking on something that they've never done before. There is no expectation of perfection. Our help desk is absolutely incredible and it's so awesome to see that it's not a revolving door. Every single leader I've interacted with always assumes positive intention and gives the benefit of the doubt. Everyone wants you to succeed. Change is scary and there has certainly been a lot of change. But for those with growth mindsets It's been incredible to see how many people have leveled up. I read through a lot of the feedback and can tell the dramatic shift in leadership trying to course correct past decisions. Every single person at I-Tech is helpful. I was worried about starting at a small company where there can be a lot of judgement or HR drama but everyone is truly genuine.

Cons

Things to consider when figuring out if I-Tech is the right fit for you: If you have complaints and problems you better be ready to be apart of the solution. You are expected to get results. You can't hide from poor performance. There is no shortage of work. Small company but still operates very siloed. A lot of siloed tribal knowledge, can make it difficult to navigate. Tedious internal processes & procedures. Tenured employees still mourn the old days prior to acquisition. New people who don't understand how to navigate during these transitional times will struggle with interpersonal relationships.

Pros

The company started with a strong foundation, which is what drew me in and got me excited about working there. But after the acquisition, things shifted. Expectations were constantly changing, and we were pushed to own results outside of our actual roles. Goals were raised week after week to a point where it felt like we were chasing something that wasn’t realistic.

Cons

New management didn’t seem to have a clear vision, and there was little sense of company culture. Departments felt disconnected, and it was obvious that some people had to work much harder to prove themselves compared to others.
