Pros
I first pursued working with Mark Kravitz and I-SPY hospitality due to my love of restaurants and expanding my palate. Having worked in the hospitality industry in most positions I also enjoyed the challenge of being precise and accurate in observing the many fine details that entail eating at a restaurant (especially fine dining). It is a challenge and something you can’t take for granted. Mr. Kravitz has been very direct and specific with directions, preparations and expectations with me. He is not giving away free meals and the work that is asked of us is within reason. All you can ask for out of a superior is clear and direct communication and Mr. Kravitz provided that. If people think it is too much than it’s not for them. I don’t see it as a negative against the company. I’m sure his clients are much more appreciative of his approach versus someone who doesn’t want the best and most thorough job done. In the negative reviews I only see people who probably expected free meals and just an opinion of their experience. These are very detailed assignments and preparation and due diligence is required. Along with that I get to experience new cuisines, locales and types of service. It’s very neat and well worth the effort to be precise and aware while I am dining. I recommend this company with my all. I thank Mr. Kravitz for his direct and clear expectations because I could not think to ask more or less of any employer. Fantastic experience so far! My name is William and I do not write anonymous online reviews but I felt the need to support this company.
