Pros

The only pro was getting out of there in time

Cons

At first, I wasn't thinking of leaving a review for this company, but since the CEO himself referred to me in his latest comment on a review on here, I decided to react. First of all, yes, I am the employee the CEO is referring to in his comment below that worked as a babysitter prior to taking on this job. I honestly believe the fact the CEO degrades someone's abilities by referencing jobs employees did in the past says a lot about the CEO himself and is a great portrayal of how you should expect to be treated in the company if you do decide to take on a position with gsmExchange. Also, calling his ex-employees out by ASSUMING who they are based on ANNONYMOUS reviews left on this page is another portrayal of how the company is being run. Another thing to refer to here is my sales experience the CEO is refering to in his comment. I actually came to the company with 4 years of sales experience with 2 more years of customer care experience. This shows the ignorance the CEO has towards his employees, knowing them and valuing their efforts, hard work and their experience. I personally left the company because of the lack of chances to progress, because of constantly beinf put down for the work I did and because of fear of being degraded on a personal and professional level everyday by the CEO. The comments on here speak for themselves so there wouldn't be much left for me to add except a few things: - You will be expected to work long hours and, if you decline to do so because of whatever reasons you have not to work more than 40 hours a week, expect to be degraded yet again - Comission structure is not set in stone and it changes as the wind blows so you might be expecting to get your comission one day and end up with no comission the next day - Team spriti? Forget about it - The tone in the office is very negative so don't expect to have any laughs whatsoever in all those 40+ hours you'll work in a week - Keeping your mouth shut might help you with having a few days of peace in the office without being yelled at - Expect to make 200+ phone calls to clients a day that are usually completely unnecessary and with no real goals to them - If you decide to put your head into the role (which on its own is actually quite interesting and, if managed better, could be an interesting one with great learning possibilities), expect to be shut down. No projects will be approved if they're not up to CEO's standards (and that changes daily, just like the comission structure) Overall, very unprofessional management system, no benefits to the job and a very negative place enforced with fear of the management itself. Like I said, the CEO's comments below speak for themselves and there's not much left to say.

Pros

This is a great company for people with high expectations. If you’re hardworking and feel that urge to challenge yourself professionally, gsm Exchange is the right place because compensation is highly rewarding. There is a commission system and they give you possibilities to close big deals. With the advertising sales you get up to 15% uncapped and with events 4% commission, but they work with considerable amounts. To put it simply: you can make a lot of money. Gsm Exchange understands that at the end of the day, we all work for compensation and expect amounts to be fair. The rule here is simple, the harder you work the more you earn, which worked very well for me. They are reliable when it comes to your payroll, and I appreciate this a lot since unfortunately I haven’t experienced the same treatment in other companies. On this note, you can relax about your work being acknowledged and compensated, and that was the most important thing for me.

Cons

It’s a very competitive atmosphere and for some people it can get stressful, especially if you don’t have the nerve to manage independently. Gsm Exchange will push you to get positive results and sometimes you’ll have to go over your limits. For me this was great, but I understand not everybody is looking for that. So if you want a comfy position that requires little effort, perhaps it’s better if you just keep looking.
