Pros

I really enjoyed working here. The team and the company culture were warm, supportive and all had a vested interest in doing work well, which is what I wanted in my career. Working with such an inspirational woman, Vicky, made the whole experience easy; she's fantastic to work for and encourages integrity in all work you do. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the GD team for 5 years!

Cons

If you don't like hard work and don't value working independently in a supportive environment, this isn't for you.

Pros

- Flexible working is a genuine benefit. Although the office is London-based, the ability to work remotely was a key factor for me and has certainly had a positive impact on my wellbeing and work-life. - The company is small but expanding, and has a very friendly, open and approachable culture. Despite a busy schedule, the owner/CEO (who I report directly to) is accessible, takes time to listen, and is open to ideas and feedback. - Management is flexible and responsive to individual needs, both professionally and personally. Support during a difficult personal time was handled with empathy and understanding, which was greatly appreciated. - Requests for flexible working arrangements are taken seriously, which has contributed to my overall job satisfaction. - Although remote, the team is fully supportive and collaborative, and resources are provided as and when needed. - Competitive salary. - The company organises in-person team socials a few times a year. These are well planned, genuinely social (rather than work-focused), and always involve something fun, which helps build team connection despite remote working.

Cons

- As with many remote roles, the con to distant working is that there is obviously less opportunity for day-to-day office banter and informal interaction. - Even with regular online meetings and occasional in-person socials, it can take a little longer to get to know colleagues, compared to a fully office-based environment - This is a very minor drawback however, given the flexibility and benefits of remote working!
