Pros

There are many pros to working for ghSMART - 1. The team - people at ghSMART are amazing, supportive, and genuinely care for each other and want each other to win and be successful. Hands down, the most unique, intelligent, caring group of people I've ever worked with. 2. The culture allows you to be yourself and work within the freedom and flexibility the company prides itself on. I have never worked anywhere where it's encouraged to take a field trip with your child, make appointments during the day, enjoy dinner with your family every evening, and the list goes on - that's the ghSMART way! 3. Working fully remote has been such a fantastic bonus to working at ghSMART. I still feel connected, I get to see my colleagues in person from time to time, yet my work/life balance is the best it's been in my entire career. 4. The leadership team is available to connect with; they listen to their teams. The C-Suite team is newly formed and makes an incredible lineup of dynamic, approachable leaders.

Cons

There are none that I can see.

Pros

- I get to do the leadership and organization work I love, every day - We get to work at the highest levels of influence (CEOs, boards) with the most prominent clients in the world - Colleagues are genuinely kind and collaborative, there are no politics or backstabbing

Cons

- A good chunk of the work is solo, which creates a lot of flexibility but is a switch from traditional consulting - The remote culture isn't for everyone although the firm does a pretty amazing job of bringing people together. And when people are together the are remarkably present

Pros

Working at ghSMART has been one of the most energizing and fulfilling experiences of my career. Even though I’m not in a client-facing role, I feel deeply connected to the firm’s mission and know that my work truly matters. What stands out most is the people - everyone is not only incredibly sharp, but also kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping each other succeed. There’s no ego here, just a shared commitment to doing great work and making a difference. Leadership is transparent and approachable, and you really feel trusted to do your job well. You’re given a lot of autonomy, but also plenty of support. It’s fast-paced and expectations are high, but the culture is healthy and sustainable, not the kind of "high performance" that burns people out.

Cons

- It’s not a place for coasting - the pace and standards are high - Being remote requires strong communication and self-motivation
