Pros
Good discount, small teams, amazing clientele. Current trends and always changing merchandise. Promote from with-in typically. This company is always changing and never stays put in regards to merchandise, merchandizing, trends etc. The small teams make it so fun and easy to work with for scheduling and payroll BUT that's also a double edged sword because if someone gets sick you could get stuck working a double at times.
Cons
-Small staff, ever changing corporate, loss of MULTIPLE benefits (maternity leave for example) -expectation is that Boutique Managers will work close to 50 hours a week with no compensation for it. -They recently altered the bonus structure so anyone not salaried has no incentive and anyone salaried has a flat bonus. -No payroll hours, making it IMPOSSIBLE to meet extreme high goals set by corporate. -THEY DO NOT ALWAYS PAYOUT MONEY OWED TO EMPLOYEES! I am still owed money for my vacation time, I have a friend that still works there that has been waiting 5 MONTHS for a bonus she earned to be paid out after contacting payroll, her RD, DM and even after contacting the Labor Board. BE CAUTIOUS! The company is young, I worked for them for 3 years and have seen them go through SO MANY changes. As of now don't work for them, too much change is happening with little explanation, warning and NO talk about it. The stress and expectations are not worth it. POTENTIAL MANAGERS BEWARE! They are great to part timers because they don't have the responsibilities and expectations but MANAGERS get caught in a web of extreme overtime, little pay and high expectations.
