Pros
Freedom with visual merchandising, no planograms. Great experience for resumes, allowing even lower management to conduct interviews and communicate with upper management. Good with trying to promote from within. 30% discount. Company allows outside activity, including fashion shows and after hour parties. Great people to meet.
Cons
Sub-par salary. Terrible upper management (district). Bonuses are a joke, often being rewarded in gift cards. Communicating during employment with HR is great, but when you leave don't even think about trying to get in touch with anyone from corporate for any reason. Low standards for some positions, unreasonably high for others. High turnover due to 40+ hour work weeks for part time managers. Low security leading to high shrink, as a result leading to hell for employees. Too much to even mention. Wasn't considered for Store Manager because of my age, although the girl who eventually got the position is the same age I was. Key holder and above, prepare to come in every day off you have.
