Pros

Okay discount. Staff feels like a small family and made some lifelong friends from there. Store managers get decent vacation and paid holidays.

Cons

Where do I begin? The company just did a HUGE layoff splitting up districts and region. Lost my regional manager. Now the district I was in has over 20 stores where it had only 12...now I’ll never see my DM since she will be traveling everywhere. The stylist position will soon cease to exist since they only want them working on the weekends. Good luck finding someone who will take that low of pay and only will want to work on the weekends. Managers will now close alone during the week. Do you not give care about your employees safety at all just to save a dime?? If your short staffed (which most of the time you are) have fun working doubles and working whatever staff you have to death. It’s very rare other stores are willing to help. Some store managers are working up to 90 hours a week. They have crashed and quit. That’s what happens when they don’t care about their employees even though they say they do. The promise doesn’t work. End of story. Stop trying to force feed us this scripted “connection” we are supposed to have with customers. Some customers are actually just browsing...I know shocking. Pay is a joke. You can get a job at so many other retailers with less responsibility with way more pay.

Pros

I loved the flexibility of my boss scheduling me according to free time with my college work.

Cons

I felt like it was a very serious job and sometime my boss would make me go up to guests and keep askign them questions right when they walk in the door.
