Pros
Benefits are good for a retail company. On-site gym is nice. I like the iced tea more then the soda machine.
Cons
Total turnover of executive level management. Except inexplicably the lawyer who is the default #2. He is a lawyer for goodness sake with no retail experience who runs half the company. The CEO is never really there (i.e. in the office) and lives in Dallas or something. and has not done much except hire a bunch of upper management that don’t really fit. They are either not qualified for what they were hired to do or come from failing companies. Then they spend all there time bringing in people from there former company so they can make it just the same. (A loser) 1. I am just picking on the top level. The problems go all through the corporate office. We do have a “vision 20/20” that is apparently a secret to everyone but upper management and nobody has to filter any of their projects through but the CEO spent a ton of time on it so I guess its valuable? If you need a paycheck go ahead and take the job. But based on the management (especially the CEO and the lawyer) don’t expect very much. Get as much out of them as you can and then move on to greener pastures.
