      You can work from home, as they don’t pay coworking fees

      Cons

      -Pay salaries 4 months late and ask employees to stay committed -Management is disrespectful -No clear vision - no good product - no competitive advantage in the neobank sector (no, they’re no better than Revolut, and never will be) -Green washing -Lying to employees about almost everything -Lying to investors about fake partnerships, revenues, clients number,... -Fear management : threat people of firing them to achieve objectives -And then fire people without reason because objectives are unachievable It’s a real joke company where you don’t want to get involve

      Thank you for this feedback. This review dates from early 2021, when Elyps was operating as an early-stage neobank venture. The company no longer operates in this space. Since then, Elyps has been entirely repositioned as a regulated cross-border financial platform, authorised by the National Bank of Belgium, serving institutional and corporate clients across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The business model, team, governance and financial operations have fundamentally changed. We take the concerns raised seriously and they are part of what drove this transformation.

      Pros

      There are none, this company is not worth your time.

      Cons

      Founders who talk the talk, but do not walk the walk. They dream big, but lack ability to deliver. Lack skills to manage vision and strategy with delivery. Do not respect work-life balance for employees. Unable to manage professional disagreement. I saw a freelancer fired because they didn't like the work, despite it fulfilling the brief. Neither payment terms not hiring contract were respected. Advice to investors - put your money elsewhere, these people are at best incompetent, and at worst dishonest. Advice to freelancers - bad payers, not worth the risk. Advice to employees - focus your energy elsewhere, you will learn bad habits here that will do you a disservice later on. NB: The glassdoor posts with 4-5 star ratings that discuss how visionary the company is are most likely written on behalf of the company by current employees to boost their score as this is exactly the type of language they used in meetings to discuss what type of company they want to be - word for word.

Since then, the company has undergone substantial changes in its operational structure, governance and client delivery framework. We now operate as a regulated cross-border financial platform serving institutional clients across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with structured processes, clear accountability and full regulatory oversight by the National Bank of Belgium. We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to maintaining professional standards across every aspect of our operations.

      - Flexibility to work from home; - The team is very competent, but most of them resigned after not being paid for more than 3 months; - The possibility of building a product from scratch; - Autonomy to plan and execute your projects;

      - Lack of transparency; - Excess of micromanagement; - Unpaid and overdue salaries; - Values of the company: at the harassment level with insults coming from the founders towards some employees and freelancers; - Founders are insecure and with a big ego

Since then, Elyps has undergone a complete transformation in its operating structure, financial management and team governance. The company now operates under the regulatory supervision of the National Bank of Belgium with structured compliance, disciplined financial operations and professional standards applied across all internal and external relationships. The issues described here were taken seriously and directly informed the changes we implemented.
