Pros

Remote, little overhead, benefits, good salary.

Cons

Exp treated us with a disrespect. There is no company culture and pple don’t care to show their faces on the online meetings, even for the interview. But thats not what killed my experience… what actually killed it was the way they laid off 100+ employees in 1 day w/o any termination notice in advance. They just made a spontaneous (for us) meeting as said you are all laid off due to a slow market, affective TODAY! They didn’t even let us make it full 8hr day, they said log off now after the meeting and you are out the door. Shame on such huge corporation! We all have kids, mortgage, plans…you can’t just screw up someone’s life like this. Obviously shows how much they care about their ppl, about their company reputation. They burned bridges just like that. I’ve never experienced something like this in my career.

Pros

Great company to work for. Remote work environment. Great commission split, low fees.

Cons

Nothing really, I had a great experience. If fully remote is not for you, I don’t recommend eXp.

Pros

The revenue share is great and makes it worthwhile

Cons

all calls to support are outsourced and are seldom able to be solved over the phone late response to emails in a business where time is money need to sign on to their virtual cloud world if you need some help in the field which can be inconvenient when you are actively showing houses has lost all sense of a small brokerage feel, especially when you need help or help navigating a transaction.
