Having been with eGain now for just over a year, I can confidently vouch for the quality and substance of this excellent organization. eGain's Mission Statement is very simple to "Help businesses with their digital customer engagement efforts", but the execution is everything but simple and really quite extraordinary. The eGain solution platform is incredibly prescient given the massive shift in both digital consumer demand and increase in remote workforce - truly a necessary answer to a uniquely contemporary condition. Although the technology stands on its own as the top-rated solution for Digital Engagement, Knowledge Management and Engagement Automation - don't just believe me, ask Gartner AND Forrester - it is the PEOPLE in this company that truly make the magic. From Operations, to Sales, to HR... from the US to India to the UK and beyond, this is one team made up of many high caliber, hardworking, dedicated and quality individuals, out to elevate each other just as much as every eGain customer. It is a culture of mutual respect and shared commitment. Pros

Supportive coworkers who were always willing to teach, answer questions, and help me succeed.

Cons

Management needs significant improvement. I didn't feel supported or properly trained, and there was an expectation to know how to do tasks without adequate guidance. Communication was often unclear, and feedback focused more on mistakes than coaching. I also felt isolated, and it seemed employee concerns were discussed with others instead of being addressed directly. A more supportive and communicative management team would greatly improve the workplace.
