Pros
- I've been lucky enough to have met some great managers that really provide an example for others to follow, and from which I have learned a lot. - Superb Learning & Development offer: the L&D team is probably one the best ones I have ever met and the trainings are excellent for personal & professional development (lots of soft skills & technical skills courses, workshops, learning material, free access to O'Reilly online learning platform, etc.). - Career progression opportunities are very good, you can not only move up but also sideways: if you fancy a career switch to a different area, the opportunity is available to anyone. - Amazing atmosphere, lots of talented, motivated, international, fun people. Healthy, dynamic and laid-back work environment and culture. It's a place that allows you to have a proper work/life balance. - A lot of holidays. - Beautiful modern offices that are super well located in the heart of Barcelona. - Flexible hours and half-day Fridays. - Lots of internal events, meetups, talks, activities, etc.
Cons
- No remote work (yet). - Some internal processes are still a bit disorganized. - Too much bureaucracy in most of the internal processes, which takes up too much time. - Hierarchy is still a thing here. - I have the feeling that there is a slight disconnection to the offices in other locations, which is a pity. - Not enough out-of-office team-building activities. - Brand image could do with a revamp in my opinion. - Agile mindset and procedures only applied to Tech Dev and Product but should expand to many other areas.
