Pros
The office itself is beautifully modern and upscale, complete with a "zen" room and employee "game" room. CEO tries to be as involved as possible and seems to care about the company overall. The benefits are pretty standard. About 1/4 of the company staff is friendly and helpful. The location of the company is good.
Cons
Unfortunately, this company is all "smoke and mirrors". The "zen" room is normally a place employees go to cry or make desperate phone calls to find another job...or both. Only the "favorite" employees have time or opportunity to actually use the game room. The "favorite" employees are selfish, closed off, and completely unwilling to be team players. The company gives fancy titles to hourly positions in order to make them sound good, but they aren't willing to provide proper salaries. They abuse and misuse a "Chinese overtime" system, so if you work over 40 hours (which is common and expected), don't expect time and a half compensation. Unless you're one of the "favorites" of management, don't count on any type of support or understanding. This company is perfect for you if you want to be over-worked and under-paid.
