Pros
The team is collaborative, kind, and open to teaching you a lot as soon as you join. I appreciated how they gave honest feedback, but it didn’t come from a place of hurt; the leadership want you to grow. You need to come ready to put work in, not only because they deserve that kind of work ethic, but also because the tasks required of you are crucial to business success. You don’t do busy work; you gain tangible skills that are aligned with goals that you set for yourself throughout your experience, as well as the goals of the company. Because of the awesome group dynamic, interesting and engaging tasks, and opportunities for learning, I would say that any role (intern or otherwise) spent with Dashmote is worth going after.
Cons
- Largely unstructured work environment (if you like to figure things out as you go, then you'll be good)
