Pros
You get to work with some incredibly talented people Compensation is on the higher end for a company of this size and stage (depending on department) The product itself is pretty cool and has some notable figures using it
Cons
No clear direction from leadership, company has reorganized structure several times in the past year, essentially doubled the size of the C-suite without staffing up junior and mid-level employees to properly support scale Unrealistic goal setting demoralizes employees Clear examples of nepotism and favoritism with certain employees based on personal relationships with leadership, primarily white men Too many individuals involved in making everyday decisions slows down our ability to get work done and creates no clear ownership of work or tasks Most of the employees that have left Community within the past year are people of color, women in leadership positions, and people from the LGBTQ community We have no idea how much our equity is worth and receive intentionally vague answers Not a safe workspace mentally, management plays politics and pits employees against each other Although they say they support employee growth, the growth path here is very unclear
