Pros
nice coworkers sometimes. plenty of interaction with customers for practice
Cons
low pay. demanding schedule. you'll be on your feet for hours. many days they don't give you a break. they'll squeeze as man appointments as they can on your books each shift. they'll give you as little hours as possible to keep they're costs down. even as a full time employee they'll lower your hours to save money. the owner Erin says she doesn't do raises. imagine doing 10 blowouts in 8 hours. the company charges $45 per blowout. you helped them make $450 that day. but you only make $9 per hour so you made $72 that day before taxes... and you're body is sore and tired. feet hurt and no break... and you can't get a raise. while the owner is opening new locations, winning awards and lining her pockets.
