Pros

Great co-workers, everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. Easy to get along with.

Cons

You have to pay your expenses out of pocket, and hope you get repaid before your bill comes due. They only pay expenses on payday, and wait until the last minute to process, if there are any errors, they pretend they are helping you out, to get paid back in 3 weeks or more. Middle management is decent, but upper management is does not except criticism very well. It's their way or no way.

Thank you for your recent review. I am very proud of the team we have at aeSolutions, and pleased to know that you also found your former co-workers to be knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately it appears you disagreed with some aspects of our expense reimbursement process. I believe that our practice of paying submitted and approved expenses biweekly combined with the many, many resources that are available to assist employees makes our process a robust and fair one, and I always strive to make myself available to answer questions or provide clarification when employees are unclear about policies. Feedback on policies and procedures is also always welcome and accepted when presented in a constructive and collaborative manner. I’d urge any employee – current or former – who wishes to share feedback in that manner to contact me directly. Our goal with any policy is to treat the employee and the company fairly and in such a way that we are able to find success together. Ben Krisher Manager, Human Resources

Pros

aeSolutions offers a lot of career growth and development opportunities for people who are motivated and eager to take on challenges. Senior leaders take personal interest in how employees are doing.

Cons

As a medium-sized company, there aren't as many "title change" promotions that you might see at larger companies with lots of employees/departments. May take longer to get a title bump vs. those types of companies especially in the smaller groups.

Pros

Remote or office work available.

Cons

Management clearly has its short list of favorite employees identified, regardless of qualifications. For example, senior technical managers that have almost no experience are now charged with technical oversight of projects. Note to staff: if you're not on that short list, you need to be considering other options. Considering the ongoing brain drain, I'm really surprised that AE keeps getting any business at all. There is a recent effort to promote from within, however, the pool of talent has shrunk so much over the years this will not work well. I see AE being sold off very soon.

As the CEO of aeSolutions I take all feedback seriously, while also considering the spirit with which it is given. While I don’t believe this review was written with the best intentions, it still offers a valuable perspective, telling me that our work to fully align our team members with our core values, mission, and vision is not yet done. Building and sustaining a culture of excellence and accountability is difficult, and I believe our current company leaders – the vast majority of whom have been promoted from within, with an average tenure of over 9 years – are the right people to accomplish this. I am immensely proud of aeSolutions, our entire team, and the expertise and value we bring to our clients. As we move into 2026, I will continue to encourage those who are not fully committed to delivering on our promises to do some serious self-reflection and determine if we are the right fit for them. -Ken O'Malley, CEO
