Pros
The 401K program is great. The medical insurance is also reasonable. The new casual dress code is nice. Nice vacation package.
Cons
Very inconsistent practices. Some people can utilize tuition reimbursement while others in the company are told no to same programs. Very inconsistent pay. College interns (no degree or experience) make more than many full-time employees with years of experience and degrees. The pay scales are not disclosed to Team Members. I don't even know what my current pay scale tops out at. Very hard to advance. HR is so focused on checking all the boxes it is hard to advance. If you don't check the experience box you cannot move forward. We have countless capable Team Members leave for opportunities at other companies. I have even been told by upper management that if I wanted to pursue furthering my career to leave and then come back. Different standards for legacy companies. Legacy Zimmer has a very high education standards while Legacy Biomet did not. The Legacy Biomet Team Members are not being held to the higher standards in Zimmer Biomet while Legacy Zimmer Team Members still are. Management does not seem to care about home life. If they have a project or ideal they want completed, it will be done. Your personal life does not matter to them. Talks of unions are talking place. I have witnessed people not stand up and do the right thing out of fear of retaliation.
