Pros
When the 'growth story' turns into constant layoffs
Cons
I joined this company thinking I was part of a scaling success story, but the reality on the ground feels completely different. During our last commercial update, it became clear that the sales numbers aren't anywhere near where they promised they'd be. Now, there’s this constant cloud of uncertainty hanging over the office. We’ve seen frequent redundancies lately, and it’s reaching a point where you stop looking at your project roadmap and start looking at your LinkedIn instead. It feels like they brought in the right talent under false pretenses without having the actual business stability to back it up. I’m currently still here, but every "all-hands" meeting feels like a countdown. It's hard to stay focused when you don't know if your badge will work tomorrow. How many rounds of layoffs would you sit through before you decided to jump ship, even without another offer?
