Pros

Manageable workload, friendly coworkers, solid management staff, low to moderate stress, free food, clear expectations, and relaxed but focused atmosphere. I also got a lot from this job. I developed negotiation skills, improved my speaking skills, and strengthened my time management/note taking abilities. I also gained a lot of exposure to the real estate industry in general. Learning state and local law, common business practices, and proper maintenance of residential property.

Cons

Busy time of year can be chaotic and stressful. Small mistakes and oversights can lead to big problems. This position requires an eye for detail, and strict adherence to standard protocol. Additionally, this positions requires you be a middle man of sorts, and as such, when things go wrong everyone immediately points their finger to you. However this is not a big deal as long as the job is done correctly. The biggest drawback of the position is that it is in many ways a customer service position and the customer's expectations are not always in line with reality. That said, the good far outweigh the bad and being able to regularly exceed expectations makes the position very rewarding.
