Pros
The only I could think of is remote working but this only happened after Covid-19. Before, the company was not flexible.
Cons
Run by the self-loving in-crowd who are managers only by the title and care about nothing else but themselves and beer swilling. The team members, team’s wellbeing, the business; performance, unreasonable workload, lack of new hire trainings – these are not even on the agenda. While still there, I realised this place ticks all the boxes of a toxic work environment: Bad communication? Ticked! Cliques, exclusion, gossipy behaviour? Ticked! Bad leadership? Ticked! Unmotivated co-workers? Ticked! Does not offer mobility and learning opportunities? Ticked! No Work-Life balance? Ticked! Will lead you to battling burnout? Ticked! In every day-to-day decision, this company does not only do the exact opposite of what a good practice is, but also ads its own crazy twist to it to make the bad even worse. The level of incompetence is inconceivable. Add to this no salary increases after an extremely busy year and a little bit of good ol’ fashioned discrimination and you have the full picture of what this place really is. If you still consider applying for a role, ask how it became available and what was the turnover in the last year. I would also ask how the performance is evaluated and they ensure they offer equal opportunities. Having said all that, there is still some real talent and a few individuals doing amazing job and providing fantastic customer service. Unfortunately, they have no chance to shine and develop in this extremely dysfunctional environment. It is a real shame and still upsets me to this day but save yourself till you can and stay away
