Pros
Employees are always put first - each week we have a Glads and Sads wall to highlight what has made us sad or glad that week. This ensures transparency across the office with regards to how employees are feeling and how to improve and sads that are put up. Regular well-being emails are also sent round on a monthly basis. The team are all so kind, passionate and respectful towards each other. Everyone cares and supports each other and great care is taken during the recruitment process to ensure there is a good cultural fit. The working environment is continually kept up to date, employees are asked for their input on what can be done to improve it. Everything is modern, clean and professional. The senior team are happy to invest in things that add value for their employees. A great environment to work in. Working Flexibly is a big part of Yoyo. The team trusts each other to work where best suits the needs of the staff. Whether this be at home, in the office, or even in a local coffee shop! Pre during and post maternity break, the MD continually supported my needs. Made it very easy to slot back into a new more suitable role that worked with my part-time hours and never made you feel guilty if you needed to leave on the dot to pick up your child. The work produced is always tested and time is spent crafting great solutions for the clients. There are no "quick win" solutions and honesty and transparency is a huge part of what makes the company so successful. Fresh fruit and snacks are made available throughout the week and you are encouraged to take regular breaks and socialize with other staff members over a coffee! Regular team bonding is a must and we have an internal team dedicated to ensuring we have activities that focus on our mind, body and soul!
Cons
Car parking in Tunbridge Wells is a little pricey and Yoyo only has four private spaces - but they do well to manage them fairly based on their employee's needs.
