Pros
I can't think of any pros.
Cons
- It is largely a culture of "do what I say, not what I do" - The company slogan is "every voice counts" which couldn't be farther from the truth - Leadership favors white males - Management never puts in a full week, but employees are required to be there 9-5 Monday thru Friday - Learderhip is not inclusive, blatantly excluding groups of employees from team functions - No corporate strategy or marketing strategy - Very inappropriate work relations that affect a large part of the business - Top management plays favorites - No team development or formal training opportunities - You must accumulate your vacation days before you can take it - The off week promoted in on boarding uses the accumulated days, it is not an additional week - The lack of organization and planning leads to expired deadlines and chaotic work plans - Scheduled meetings with management are always cancelled without notice, showing no respect for their employees or their time and work - It is not a management team that welcomes any comments, especially constructive criticism - Collaboration and communication with other team members are not encouraged, in fact it is usually reprimanded - The lack of communication of decisions and directions creates a state of general confusion - They say they want to recruit "self starters", but the reality is that there isn't a lot of work becuase of the lack of corporate strategy and planning - The free snacks aren't worth it - My advice to current employees is to document everything incase you need to go to a labor board
