Pros
Stable company, with 1-2% pay raise almost guaranteed. Starting salaries are low.
Cons
Lots of nepotism, very few opportunities for career progression. Don't fully comply with Labour Laws. Generally disorganised, despite claiming to be lean. Management are workoholics with extremely good benefits. They are rarely available for mentoring/support. Most progressions are based on higher-ups retiring or leaving the company, and there is a line of succession based on years of service. Very insular culture and seem to be unaware of the wider industry.
