Pros
I disagree with the below statements being made about Paint Nite and I actually don't see any of that happening here at all. I think Paint Nite is definitely transitioning, but that is totally normal (and healthy) for a company of our size and age. There is no doubt in my mind that our Leadership Team is working in the best interest of all of the employees and licensees, and it isn't always easy to please everyone. Actually, it's impossible to please everyone.
I think people need to recognize that Paint Nite is a business. Yes, we deliver fun experiences to consumers, but it takes hard work and strong talent to do what we do everyday for millions of people. In a transitioning organization, continuous growth, flexibility, and resilience are critical qualities employees need to have -it's part of the start-mentality. I feel very confident in the leadership at Paint Nite, as well as the current and future employees that work here, and predict the company will continue to be wildly successful in the years to come.
Cons
I do feel that Leadership could do a better job role modeling "time off is time off" by not constantly emailing weekends or late at night. Unless it is absolutely critical someone answer immediately, people's time at home or away from the office should allow them to unplug from work. With technology and smart phones disconnecting from email and work seems impossible, but it does mentally impact work-life balance.
