No opportunities for advancement and no training. Being team lead is as far as you can go, because managers have been with the company since it started and have no intention of stepping down. High performance is not recognized, positive feedback is totally absent, and you are never supposed to complain or be negative about working at Yardi. Management is completely absent and uninvolved, and everyone feels like a small robot doing the same repetitive tasks each day, afraid to raise their voices or complain about anything. The pay is below par compared to other companies in the area, and raises and promotions are rewarded based on seniority or favoritism instead of skill. Working from home is not an option at all, even though the open-office layout seriously hinges productivity.
