Pros

The office in is a central location, The topic is interesting

Cons

They made me leave a stable situation to join them. After a few months they told me they couldn't pay me at the salary we initially agreed. It is actually even worst since they initially wanted me to sign a non compete agreement which I hopefully refused. They knew from the beginning they wouldn't be able to sustain so they tried to frame me. Needless to say, they refuse to pay the wage of the last month which was part of our contract. They will most likely try to take advantage of you being a foreigner to deny your working rights in Japan. Technically speaking, You'll most likely work alone and should expect to spend a big part of your time to explain the technical details to persons who do not have the relevant background instead of building models. Working conditions, The office is very noisy and almost all the furniture are broken. To sum up, there are plenty of great ML companies hiring in Japan, Yaraku is not one of those. If you still want to give it a shot you should read about the Labour Law in Japan before and be very careful on what you sign with them.
