Pros

The work with the residents is great and all of them are really nice. Project workers team are friendly.

Cons

Managers don’t understand how hard it is and how demanding is the rota. They don’t sit with residents and they make decisions that impact them without knowing anything, especially on the higher floors. They treat this as a corporate and not as a charity. Managers and seniors protect each other and don’t care about the rest of the team, most of them are fake. No pay rise and no career growth.

Pros

Talking with the residents was always the highlight of my job. It’s not their fault.

Cons

Management were always terrible and I worked there for a long time. Also never received a penny of pay increase except from compulsory government increases despite being very loyal and dedicated to the company. It was a very hostile work environment at times and nothing is really done about bullying or arguments amongst colleagues. They tend to employ questionable people who don’t seem to have the residents’ best interests at heart. Overall, the management are really just so awful. There is no career progression either.
