- Lacks of Communication - My Manager doesn't like foreigners despite he was managing the oversea dept - They recruit you for several tasks that you won't ever do, and if you try to bring this up, they consider you as bothersome and you get fired. - They just want cheap labors and translators, they will disguise the job requirements for it. This is what happened to the whole oversea dept - The management is inexistant, you have nobody to rely on. - There are too many people doing nothing there, they simply have no tasks to do, we do believe they're because the department manager likes them, and they don't get fired because they're locals. - The local team is acting entitled but truth to be told they do nothing. - The Oversea staffs are never invited into meetings despite working in the same dept. Only the Local staff is invited into meeting with the managers. - They are absolutely not inter-cultural despite working with EU/US. - They're trying to push you to overtime and work on week ends for free, and actually they tell you, you don't have any choice, just to comply. - The management is just playing games on their computer the whole day cf: World of Warcraft. - They do not respect contracts. - The benefits are inexistants. In fact, they consider giving you some currency in their own games as a benefit and consider it's enough. - The biggest cons is that they're not friendly, the work atmosphere is not good, the local staffs do not really talk to the foreign staffs and despite they only recruit foreign employees that can speak chinese they do not bring anything on the table for them to stay, there are no opportunities to climb the ladder, you'll stay there at the same position forever cf: one employee from the states that's there for almost three years (also doing nothing, just checking forums whole day).
