Pros
Really great set of people, hard working and fun to work with at the same time.
Cons
New CEO they hired when I was there Mike was bad, financial issues were huge even though they'd grown.
Pros
- The colleagues I worked closely with
Cons
- Under qualified management and leadership ranging from supervisors up to directors with zero formal training, experience or qualifications. - “mentorship” culture, newly internally promoted seniors and mangers being mentored by their higher ups also with no formal training or qualifications. This is supposed to be some sort of alternative to actual qualifications and training courses and falls flat on its face leading to a very under equipped young management force within the business. - Very low pay, reluctant and outright refuses to even meet below industry standards. This also includes managerial roles. - Majority of all staff benefits and incentives have been taken away. - No training, qualifications or personal professional development opportunities offered to employees at all. - Overtime is an expected thing and during peak times there is a really toxic atmosphere with threats having been made to employees in order to get them doing overtime. - Financial troubles leading to redundancies and terminations carried out in the most abhorrent and unprofessional manner I have ever seen. Xbite exists within its own bubble isolated from the rest of the world and the industry. It has its own view on training, qualifications, pay, staff benefits, overtime etc. which it has been reluctant to change since I began there. The bubble Xbite exists in has since popped and the speed at which the company has gone downhill is unbelievable.
