Pros
It is a growing industry and most of the employees are nice but some are quick to stab you in the back as soon as they can benefit from it.
Cons
There are a lot to list! The company no longer cares about their employees or a work life balance. They are firing employees who know their positions inside and out and keeping or hiring employees who are lazy and non productive. They recently got rid of some very smart and productive people and closed down offices in the UK and Netherlands. Bottom line is that there is no job security here and upper management believes you are just a dollar figure, completely expendable. The facility is nasty and you will often find mice and mice droppings in your desk. So do not leave good in your desk otherwise you will have a not so nice treat the next day. It looks as though the management team cannot manage effectively. There is little to no communication between departments or to subordinates. No one seems to have a clue what's going on with the company and the moral is at an all time low. People are afraid to lose their jobs and the productive ones still there are either looking for other positions or dreading coming into work. The company does not want to grow at all as evident by the layoffs and treatment of their current customers. What once was a multinational corporation is shrinking to a US based operation. The reason I see behind this is an eventual aquisition by another company. There are a lot of other issues with this organization including favoritism, understaffing, no job description ( have to wear many hats), and no way to voice opinions or recommendations. All in all, not only is it a horrible place to work, if you do get hired, you may not be there long. Did I mention employee turnover is very high!
