Pros
High standards which is great since my previous job had very little, which gives me a sense of accomplishment when I do well or receive positive feedback from my peers or trainer Lot’s of training so I felt prepared going into my first lesson High salary, especially for the number of hours worked each week Because full time is only 18 classes a week, it allows for lots of time outside of work to pursue my other interests which is important to me
Cons
Although I mentioned high standards as a Pro this is also a Con - Because my previous ALT job had such low standards, it took me a while to adjust to what is expected with this company and what was expected at my previous company - some might not be up for the challenge if they’re also coming from a traditional ALT background Some people say that the amount of training (you have one training task per week) is too much. I understand where they are coming from, but for me, who had very little training at my previous job, I find it very helpful
