Pros
Quality and rewarding work in various regions with frequent travels to countries and communities. Having the option to address issues and advice solution to communities/Governments.
Cons
It offers a very poor salary structure and benefits for young women professionals. since I joined as a JPA when I was 25 - over last 8 years my salary has increased only by 1500 per years which offers a low salary package for a family to be financially solvent in Washington DC. Poor career track and to be promoted to a higher position.
