Dire senior leadership. Culture of self-preservation. - Senior Manager Workhuman Employee Review

Pros

The mission presented externally is really good, recognizing employee contributions is important. As they say without the human its just work.

Cons

Peek behind the curtain and it is just not the same experience to actually work there. Senior leadership is a clique of who is in favor with the CEO or not. Toxic behaviors are tolerated by senior leaders with excuses made for bullying or incompetence. The culture is becoming a self-preservation one driven by fear.

Thank you for your feedback. As an organisation we are constantly evolving and there are many change programmes in flight right now to help us grow and be better! I would encourage you to connect with a leader or member of the HX team you feel comfortable with, to share details of things you referenced above. In the absence of this, it can be difficult to address. You can also share your views in more detail through our pulse surveys running monthly.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for recognizing the strong relationships, flexibility, and benefits that many employees value at Workhuman. We recognize that customer-facing roles can be fast-paced and that experiences can vary across teams. As our business continues to mature, we're investing in stronger planning, clearer prioritization, and more effective ways of working across the organization. We'd also note that while recognition awards are an important part of our Total Rewards philosophy and are reflected in employees' Total Rewards statements, they are separate from base salary and bonus compensation. Recognition is first and foremost about celebrating meaningful contributions and impact, while also providing employees with tangible rewards for the great work they do. We know there is always more to do, and we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving the employee experience as we continue to grow. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
