      Pros

      Nice location, some good people, occasional technical challenge, constant political challenge

      Cons

      You don't want to be an engineer here. Constant micromanagement, vicious backstabbing, Kafkaesque politics. There are some dominant personalities here and they will do whatever it takes to make sure they remain dominant. Your career will stagnate, at best. Turnover unbelievably high, due to the regular Sopranos-esque elimination of people who displease the queen and her court. Nonexistent support for R&D on new products. Marketing-dominated to an extreme degree.

      Hybrid work schedule and good core group of people

      Cons

      This company is high pressure with zero reward. A typical what-have-you-done for me lately. with more expectations to increase your stress at any given moment. The parent company is a complete dysfunctional group of horrible people. I have never seen such a disconnect between two companies. This place will take years off your life.
