Pros
Decent pay if you commute, fair to average benefits, interesting and challenging work if you don't care much about working with cutting edge tech. If you're smart, you can often (but not always) advance quickly if you don't mind slumming it for a while or hitting a dead end down the road. If OT ever opens up you can pad your paycheck nicely, but it seems that ship has pretty much sailed.
Cons
Pay and annual raises continue to lag behind similar tech companies in the area, and combined with the lack of active knowledge management leads to a fair degree of brain drain and stagnation. Benefits used to be pretty good but are now about standard and require some jumping through hoops. Compartmented, apathetic, and frequently shuffling mid to upper management make the rank and file both nervous and disinterested while devaluing the supposed core principles. "Cree is we" used to be a joke because it sounded silly. Now it just sounds like Orwell's "All animals are equal."
