Pros

They had the right timing with product market fit as the company hit a rare growth trajectory. A lot of good, talented people here. The company is well funded.

Cons

The HR team that they put in place for the employees outside of Israel is clearly a joke and just window dressing. If you ever work here, whatever you do, don’t go to HR for recourse or to give feedback about management. The recurring pattern here is that employees who do, end up getting fired immediately. Just stay in your lane and keep quiet if you want to increase your chances of keeping your job here. If you’re employed elsewhere in a stable job, you’re taking a big risk by joining this company as people here get fired even if they are performing up to standards. It’s a running “off the record” joke here among the American employees (even among the top management) that they’re hitting a milestone every time they can make it through another 15 day pay period, everyone just wants to hit the 1 year vest at least. Most of the people I know here would’ve left voluntarily if the job market wasn’t so bad for 2022-23. With the tech market seemingly getting better and the Big Tech companies recovering, you would be better off not coming to Wiz unless you’re desperate.

Pros

Strong onboarding with lots of well-produced training and enablement available on demand. Corporate culture driven by colleagues who seem genuinely enthusiastic about being here, a product that is genuinely differentiated, and a market opportunity that is genuinely exciting. All in all, a breath of fresh air.

Cons

Hiring/People growth is slightly outpacing Process growth, but nothing that makes life too difficult. Lots of unknowns about life as a Google company.
