Pros

Wipro is ok company. I would definitely recommend them as company that you could go if you want to get your foot in IT world, it has a well established brand name and reputation. Wipro is best for people at higher management and engineers who don't expect much in career. If you are in management stream and want to have 9 to 6 job, this is the best place. Among the good thing that Wipro offers, are Medical Benefits, Job security ( like govt. jobs) and freedom ( though it largely depends on how close you are to your managers.

Cons

Like any other service company Wipro is not too good place for talented people, they rarely gets what they deserve. Management never motivates good people and hardly cares about their aspirations. When it come to salary, they are almost at bottom. To get higher pay at Wipro its better to quit and come back than trying to negotiate with HR. There are hell lots of dumb people you will find around and top of you. Facilities are ok, but not up to mark, every where you will find lots of cost cutting measures. Overall Wipro is good to begin with but not for long term career perspective, atleast for the people who really want more than enough in their career.

Pros

Good place for freshers and early‑career professionals to learn technologies, processes, and client interaction, with “huge opportunities for learning new things.”

Cons

Onboarding for freshers can be slow and confusing, with delays before real project allocation

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
