Flexible hours, easy money. Too much lone working. - Sales Advisor Winemark Employee Review

Pros

Flexible hours (depending on manager). Easy enough money.

Cons

Company has no concern for staff welfare. Most shifts will be single-manned, contrary to both common sense and the advice of the PSNI. The days can be slow due to lack of anything engaging for staff. No radio/music allowed in the store, and no genuine rest breaks seem to be permitted when single-manned. The impact that constant lone working has on individuals is not considered. Barring the panic button, very little is offered to make the workplace safe for lone workers, especially those in shops who keep their door locked. In the event of a medical emergency or accident, employees are at serious risk. Customers can sometimes be difficult, however that is admittedly out of the company's control.

Pros

Easy job itself, but it is all make or break based on coworkers

Cons

Higher Ups would care more about dirt on their feet, outdated products, no music and an outdated atmosphere leads to a soul sucking experience on bad days
