Pros

- Very thoughtful and strategic about the clients we take on. Really sets up their recruiters for success. - Great work-life balance. CEO cares about her employees. Mandatory mental health days! Cautious about recruiter burn out which is big deal in this space - Truly cares about our clients and candidates - our work as a purpose - Great team - nice people & share the same goals. Fun team events/outings - Proactive about improving internal processes. Encouraged to give feedback - Working on establishing a more defined career path (great place to be for jr. & sr. recruiters)

Cons

- small team & will have to go outside side the scope of your work occasionally - better support on sourcing & leveraging technology to automate our processes (we're working on improving this) - recruiting has its ups & down - Diversity - We highly value diversity (both for us & our clients) but working on prioritizing this internally moving forward

Pros

They know what the want they are and what they're not. They are building a clear culture.

Cons

It's small so there's less development.

Pros

One of the things I appreciated about Will Reed was how fast everything moved. If you presented a good idea as an employee, plans were immediately put into place to make it happen. That says another great thing about the leadership...they listen. You feel like you can approach them without fear that they will run over or dismiss your ideas. Everyone there is positive, have fun, and have PERSONALITY. You don't have to fear working with boring people. Also, it's not a clock-punching environment. The focus is more on productivity and results, wherever and however you get it done. But don't think that means you can just chill at a coffee shop surfing the web...you will feel the pressure to perform. The company is still small enough that you will be exposed if you aren't getting stuff done. Which is a very good thing I think. I was always pushed and felt accomplished--like I was earning my paycheck. It's a healthy environment.

Cons

There are a couple of things that could be a con (depending on how you like to work) or a pro for certain people: -You should be prepared to travel (mainly to Austin) on occasion -As a start-up there aren't as many policies/procedures/systems as a typical company so prepare to just navigate some things on your own -You need to be flexible...the job title you were hired for may not always be that same job function going forward...as the company grows and develops, new needs means you may need to jump into a new area and learn fast
