Pros
I didn't know how wonderful a work environment and culture could be until coming to work for WI. Whether it is working with my manager, mentors/trainers, or peers, I find every interaction both instructive and positive. The culture here is so open when it comes to feedback and asking for what you need. I have yet to feel pushed to over-share about my life or put any of my personal priorities on hold for the sake of a project. Other employees attest to this and I'm actually coming to believe that it is true and not just lip service. Lastly, we have protected professional development and company activity time that helps me feel like it is possible to stay organized and on top of my client-facing projects without burning myself out.
Cons
We have not yet had an opportunity to meet in person, but this is largely due to the pandemic. Otherwise, we should have company-wide opportunities to spend time together as colleagues and bond despite being fully remote. However, company engagement opportunities (whether fitness challenges, board game nights, film fests, etc.) have been worthwhile.
