Western National has a unique and positive culture. Which is why so many employees stay for decades. It is why I came back. After working for this company for several years in the late 90's/early 2000's, I left for other opportunities. I don't regret that decision, because it gave me the opportunity to experience the insurance industry from different perspectives. Most importantly, it gave me context. I could clearly see from the outside, that no other company has the kind of of "people first" culture that Western National has. Since returning, I've been impressed with the advancements in technology, processes and the doubling-down on our culture of kindness. Most notably I have noticed: - Deliberate and careful decision making. There is a process to collaborate, develop and decide how and what to implement, knowing that changes affect employee's workflow and job satisfaction. - Constant and comprehensive communication.
