Pros
Left over food from shoots sometimes
Cons
Toxic workplace with useless leadership, impossible deadlines, and no care for employees expertise or wellbeing. Huge workload inequality and favouritism. Some people are permitted to arrive late, online shop for most of the day, then leave early, so others have to pick up the slack and work late into the evening most nights. There is no HR and no performance management for lazy or incompetent employees. Focus is on doing huge amounts of work extremely fast, with no interest at all in the quality. Mostly uninteresting, low end, highly repetitive work which is not likely to change given Wellcom’s poor reputation. General Manager has no understanding of the work the agency does and the processes involved, therefore can’t provide any support or guidance – you have to figure it all out yourself. Very cheap as a company, not willing to invest in equipment or people – resulting in clueless management, and employees having to battle with old equipment for years (some laptops are over 10 years old), staff required to provide their own specialist equipment in order to do their jobs etc.
