Pros
Unlimited PTO, Great People, Fast-Paced
First and foremost, I'm only a current employee, I am not senior management, just someone in the pits with everyone else. I'm not being paid to write this review, and I haven't been told I had to do this. Yes they did ask us all to write a review, but it was not forced and up until now I didn't think I would, but in light of recent events, I have decided to. I'd like to rebut a few of the comments made by previous reviewers. Anyone that believes they are the "best person" that works for a company, has an ego and is probably not making a true statement. Also, the company isn't actively trying to bury reviews, they asked everyone to fill out a fair and honest review from their perspective. If this was positive then so be it, if negative same. The goal is to give a whole view of the company.
Cons
Fast-Paced, Small, Can feel a bit unorganized
To address the negative comment of remote, these people accepted the job offers, knowing that after the pandemic, they would be required to travel to the office. The same offer was made to me, and I started prior to all three employees that left the negative reviews. The only employees that are remote, or the employees that work in another state than our two offices in San Diego and Boston. Further, as for Wellable's employee base, the current Wellness industry is dominated by young, female, and fresh out of college employees. It is no surprise then that the majority of our workforce follows the same pattern. Wellable is aware of this and has formed a DEI committee to learn how to best recruit and maintain a diverse workforce. I think that shows the commitment this company has to its employees.
