Pros
It's a healthy, well-run company with a strong culture. I've worked at and interned at a couple other agencies and WebFX does a lot of things really well that a lot of agencies try to do but don't actually pull off. The training program and the FXLearns ongoing SME learning program is really cool, especially for bookworms like me. A lot of the agency structure for client projects is very effecient and well run. And it works well for getting key things done for clients. Most of the client projects are interesting and you get to work with kind people. The perks and benefits are plentiful, lots of other reviews on here talk about them so I'll save the space. The workforce is mostly younger here which could be a pro or con but I appreciate the energy and fun that it brings. Software development, data, and tech are a big focus of the culture and investment which is a unique side of WebFX vs. other places I've been.
Cons
WebFX isn't immune to some of the issues that plague a lot of bigger, faster growing agencies. There is a lack of documentation at times for project requests, processes, internal processes. Some clients that come on board aren't good fits, have bad personalities, unrealistic expectations, poor products that are hard to market, super tight timelines. There isn't a lot of in-person collaboration during the day and the office is super quiet with people working at their desks vs. together. A lot of stuff is done last minute since you have a heavier workload. Some stress is inevitable, and I do have days where I feel like I need to blow off some steam after work or feel frustrated.
