There are genuine people there who work hard and who are proud of the world they achieve. There is a sense of camaraderie among the working class that is admirable because everyone will help anyone out regardless of their assigned tasks. Unfortunately it comes from a 'we are all oppressed' mindset. The growth of the company was fantastic to be a part of, but no one at the top wanted to share that success with anyone for any reason.
Cons
The company was little more than a pyramid scheme for the four people at the top who controlled everything. The factory environment at the bottom was run by managers who had very little interest in developing anything except their pension plan. There was no professional growth unless someone jumped ship to a major for 20% more or was fired to cover up a mess or to placate a client. Absolute fear ran the company and the engineering group held all the power. In certain circumstances, improving services to a client upset the balance of 'power' and the people at the bottom who were creating the solutions lost their jobs.
