A toxic environment run by two egotistical, unprofessional and quite frankly under qualified individuals. Their own relationship plays a big part in why the company is so toxic. Most people join a wellness brand with a genuine interest in this area and see the difference it can make in people's lives - something that I'm sure the founder has sold to investors. The two senior leaders only care about their own ego with genuinely no regard for other human beings. They have hired incredibly talented people on multiple occasions and instead of actually taking their advice have argued with them and made roles "redundant" or led to people not passing their probation periods. The company has zero strategy as the only opinion that matters is the two at the top - basic consumer research isn't even done. Whilst there has been key people trying to make change they aren't interested in the "people" side and just expect everyone to do as they are told and follow suit. They will also take zero responsibility for their actions and constantly blame others. They attack people on slack and deflect on every mistake they make and direct it at someone else. You can go with ideas which they will shoot down - a few weeks/months later they will say the same thing and act like it was their own idea . It's quite sad that they have limited creativity or intelligence to think for themselves or even take action when advised by others. Will be extremely surprised if this company is still running in 6 months.
