Pros
The weather team is great, and is free to make many of their own decisions. If the news or sales department has an idea for us, they ask if we want to do it first, instead of just throwing it on us. The benefits inside of gray television are amazing! This weather team works very well together.
Cons
Lots of potential here, however, resources are not that great. Some reporters come through with amazing market ideas, but we aren't able to do them due to resources. For example, during a flash flood in our immediate area, (20 minutes away) no one was able to cover the event due to lack of resources available, while a station more than an hour away and in a different state was live on the scene for high water rescues.
