Pros

- Good teammates. - Flexibility on days off - The project has some potential

Cons

- The main problem at Wazuh is the management of the company. The teams are frustrated and the atmosphere and hierarchy at Wazuh are not the best. - Employees are not listened to, work is not valued, and the CEO's attitude towards employees leaves much to be desired. He calls outside working hours and randomly, requires constant changes, shows a lack of empathy towards the employees... - The most relevant positions are taken by family members or friends of the CEO. This would not be bad if all these people were good workers and co-workers, but the way some treat others is quite awful. - There is no clear path either at the micro or macro level. - The CEO attempts to do micromanaging and try to be present in all decisions, which slows down and blocks progress. - Some people have been fired without any previous warnings. There is no sense of stability at all. When someone is dismissed, the team is not informed in any way by sending a message. - The onboarding is very poor and there is no employee training. - The organisation is non-existent in many aspects. - Salaries are inconsistent, with people in similar positions being paid half or twice as much.

Wazuh Response

This is Santiago, the CEO and founder of Wazuh. First of all, although I don't know who this person is, I respect this opinion and as a company and startup we still have a lot to learn. I see that I am personally mentioned multiple times here and I will do my best to accept the criticism and improve, so nobody feels that I lack of empathy towards the employees, or do not listen to them. Wazuh has been a bootstrapped startup that I founded almost 7 years ago. This is my first and only startup so far, and I have been lucky enough to see it grow to almost 200 people, and lots of things have been learnt in this process. We still don't have the maturity of other large corporations, but I trust our current team and believe we are making progress every day. To whoever wrote this review, sorry you felt this way. I wish you the best in your new adventures.
